Matt Verscheure

Matt Verscheure has over 20 years of experience supporting persons with developmental disabilities. Matt was born and raised in Illinois, getting his start in the Quad Cities area. He has worked in multiple capacities supporting people in both residential and day support programs. Matt has extensive experience in program development and design to meet the needs and desires of persons served. He has been active in many organizations supporting disability services including the Illinois Community Residential Provider Group and the American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities serving on the Illinois Chapter Executive Committee. Before joining Gatepath in July 2007, Matt served as Vice President of Community Living for Little Friends, Inc. in Naperville, Illinois. That role involved leadership over 53 residential locations in Chicago’s western suburbs. Matt also has an extensive background in accreditation requirements and ensuring that programs excel in using best practices established by trade associations and the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Matt holds a Masters of Science in Human Service Administration from National-Louis University, Wheeling, Illinois.
