The Power of Possibilities Recognition Event

On Friday, October 26, over 450 guests joined us at the Hotel Sofitel to celebrate those we serve and honor those that have great impact in the lives of those we serve. The Power of Possibilities recognition event was a remarkable success and raised over $175,000!

Our theme for the event this year was “Accept. Respect. Include.” Miss Montana, Alexis Wineman, opened the event with her personal story and powerful words of encouragement on the importance of acceptance.  As the first contestant with autism in the Miss America pageant she was a true inspiration to everyone!

Our keynote speakers, director Lee Hirsch and Alex Libby profiled in the documentary BULLY, spoke of their experiences behind the camera, in front of the camera and the impact the film has had in their lives, and how sharing their experience has influenced the national conversation about bullying. Their words were poignant and their stories were emotional.
