Knowledge & Resource Center - Who We Are

The Family Resource Center at Niall P. McCarthy Center for Children and Families provides information, education and support to families and care providers of children with special needs.  Our Center was designed to be a family lounge where free internet access, books, videos, educational workshops and support groups are available to visitors. 

Our staff are parents of children with special needs themselves and provide families with help in gaining access to private and public resources as well as parent to parent support.  Informational workshops and other family events are held throughout the year, please see the events section for a listing of current Family Resource Center sponsored activities.
